In the traditional 12 Step model, the 8th step is to “Made a list of all persons we had harmed and become willing to make amends to them all.” In the 12 Steps for Everyone framework, this step is about our behavior and the patterns that form as a result. Simply: Believe actions, not words. While Step 7 was about humility, Step 8 is leading with the resource material you wrote down and kept from Step 4, which looks a lot like a fat slice of… humble pie.

Denise shares a story about an outstanding warrant, and Jackie talks about how recording the podcast has made her a lot more aware of coping mechanisms and how to find what questions need to be asked. The two also express appreciation for being welcomed in spaces where there are no requirements.
