Neeral Shah is the founder and CEO of YardLink, a B2B marketplace digitising the $1TN construction supply chain. As a former investment banker, it took a move into Supply Chain Finance to discover a real issue (or opportunity should I say): A fragmented supply chain and inefficient procurement strategies within construction, with too much resource spent just getting hold of the right equipment and materials.

When Neeral started working at a high-growth tech startup the catalyst to YardLink was his involvement in digital marketplaces and seeing the power of network effects. From this point onwards Neeral knew there was a better (digital) solution to one of the construction industry’s biggest challenges with supply chains. Enter YardLink!

Even though Neeral's primary focus is YardLink and delivering the software that can reduce costs and boost profitability, there is a whole lot more to supply chain management and the benefits that come through the successful implementation of supply chain management technology, so let's take a peek at what these are shall we?

This episode was recorded live at Digital Construction Week, ExCeL, London (https://www.digitalconstructionweek.com/) where I interviewed some of the best and brightest in the built environment, for a revealing look at innovation and technology.

Topics Covered

- YardLinks Impact with Digitisation of the Supply Chain

- The importance away from the supply chain (carbon reduction, local suppliers, better business connections, margin improvements, etc)

- Opportunities to reduce costs and boost profitability

- Advice for the hesitant organisations and initial transformational steps

- What the future holds for YardLink - Staying ahead of the curve

- Finally, we’re here at Digital Construction Week - Give us your thoughts
