#44 The Importance and The Power of The Breath

I talk about the breath every time I teach or lead a coaching session. We can often take the breath for granted but it makes SUCH a difference when we think about it, and feel it.
In this episode I speak about:
- the difference it can make really listening to your breath; in everyday life and during yoga or fitness classes
- breathing to help with driving anxiety (particularly with young children in the car)
- listening to your breath while immersed in nature; deepening the experience
- using the breath as a tool in movement practices: for ease and/or power
- how the breath can help reduce stress, and calm the nervous system
- my experience doing 'Transformational Breath' with Rebecca Dennis
- using the breath whilst pregnant or postnatally for greater benefits; pelvic floor and core connection
- the beauty in breath 'work' for introspection and self-connection
