This episode of Pocket Hours is a little different. Scout Real Estate Founder Jennifer Nelson interviews her friend and longtime colleague, Dawn Leverett. Dawn is sharing her journey of misdiagnosis and eventual acceptance of Multiple System Atrophy (MSA), a rare neurodegenerative disorder.

Despite all she’s been through, Dawn maintains her sense of humor and finds support from her friends and family. Dawn’s real estate career, spanning 22 years, is characterized by genuine connection with her clients, and that hasn’t changed. She emphasizes community involvement and personal growth, even in the face of grief over her lost abilities.

Dawn also shares her experiences with ALS, raising awareness about rare diseases, and advocating for connection and understanding. Dawn’s bravery is admirable, and we appreciate her willingness to share her story on Pocket Hours.
