This week on WDDD? Sarah tells the story of the mysterious disappearance of German tourist, Lars Mittank, while on vacation in Bulgaria.

After a relaxing and overall uneventful week of sun and fun, Lars and his friends get into a small argument over football at a bar in the Golden Sands area of Bulgaria. Lars is then purportedly attacked by a group of men later in the evening while he's alone and waiting for his friends. His injuries, though not serious, cause Lars to delay his flight home and stay back for an extra day or two. It's during his solo time awaiting his next flight back that things start to become very strange. On the day of his scheduled return, Lars is captured on camera fleeing the airport towards a nearby wooded area, thereafter disappearing without a trace. Join us for the perplexing account surrounding the vanishing of cutie-pie Lars Mittank, an enigma that leaves many unanswered questions.
