In this episode of the Talking Lead Podcast: PART 2...Special guest – CW4 (R) Greg Coker served 22 years in the U.S. Army, 15 years as an AH-6 “Little Bird” attack helicopter instructor pilot who was specially recruited, assessed, and selected in the Army’s only Special Operations Helicopter unit, 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. He was one of the senior Lead Instructor Pilots and planner responsible for planning and executing special operations missions in support of our nation’s most elite special operations units, 75th Ranger Regiment and 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta.

Greg’s book, Death Waits in the Dark: Six Guns Don’t Miss! Is about a Night Stalker at war. This is the story of an attack helicopter pilot who flew with the renowned 160th Special Operations Regiment (Airborne), and the incredible friendships Greg Coker and his fellow compatriots forged in the heat of combat. The Battle of Mogadishu, the Osama bin Laden mission, and the Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi raid are just some of their exploits that have made it through to the public.

Blades for Brothers supports, empowers, and enriches the lives of America’s veterans, combat-wounded veterans, first responders, and families of fallen service members, by providing opportunities for those veterans to bond with their brothers over common experience and interests, and provide a faith-based, understanding environment to experience the fun and fellowship of blacksmithing and the bond shared by all veterans by sponsoring their participation in knifemaking events, attending blade shows, and learning from some of the top knife makers in the industry.
