When life is no longer satisfying, what are the means available to fit the pieces of one’s identity back together again? In the first episode of NO BACKUP, Hope, a young professional, is arrested during a demonstration against the city government’s abuse of power. After proving to herself her instincts for survival are pretty good, she is forced to confront seismic revelations about the political movement she has risked her life for, which tear apart the foundations of her belief, and she discovers the depths of human grit.…
