The Gospel of Matthew especially emphasizes that Jesus is the Messiah, the One the Jewish people long for, and that He is the fulfillment of what the Father promised to Adam and Eve, what God spoke to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, what the Lord declared to King David and what God spoke down through the ages through His prophets.
