We are continuing our replay series as Dr. Cheryl Hardy is sharing replays from a few of her favorite episodes of The God and Therapy Podcast. This walk down memory lane is designed to encourage you and remind you of some foundational truths as you are on your journey.

Today's episode was originally aired on June 26, 2023. Dr. Cheryl Hardy gives us insight into Schizophrenia. When we say Schizophrenia, people pause, run, or do not want to deal with the meaning, or someone diagnosed with this chronic brain disorder. Schizophrenia affects less than one percent of the United States population, yet we want to encourage prayer and give grace and mercy to the person who often suffers in silence.

A person can really live a successful life with this disorder with treatment, medication, and therapy. Practicing self-care is a good way to cope, attending support groups and aiming for a healthy lifestyle helps also. You can find resources at: www.brightquest.com

** To purchase a copy of Dr. Cheryl's Book, Therapy Is Not the Ememy – The Christian Novel, and other self-care resources, including Rebuilding a New You – A Self Care Journal, go to www.drcherylhardy.net/shop or an Amazon.
