Your hosts, Dan Winter and Steven E. Jones, speak with Almaz Negash, named one of Silicon Valley‘s Top 100 Women of Influence for her work in social innovation. Almaz shares her incredible story, from the beginnings of her leadership journey in a new country to her vision and mission for the African Diaspora Network.

In 2010, Almaz founded the African Diaspora Network (ADN) to inform and engage Africans in the Diaspora, and to facilitate direct collaboration with social entrepreneurs, innovators, and business leaders to invest in Africa.

Her efforts provide resources, education, funding, and mentoring to African entrepreneurs, activating capital from the African diaspora and friends of Africa for the development of Africa and communities worldwide.

‘’We can all work together,’’ Almaz says. “The importance of connecting, building trust, and developing communities, is one of the most critical factors in business and life. If we know each other and we have that opportunity, change will happen, even if it's only one person at a time.”

Almaz shares how her network is changing the lives of African people and their entrepreneurship endeavors by building relations and connecting them with the right resources. Too often, those unique ideas fail due to a lack of connections.

If you're looking to expand your leadership influence, shift your results, and develop a highly engaged, accountable team, we’d love to talk to you. Schedule a conversation with an Altus Team Member HERE
