In todays episode, Emie walks listeners through the practice and benefits of box breathing to calm anxiety and to reclaim calm.

  • Sit upright with your feet on the ground or floor and shoulders squared
  • Close your eyes
  • Continually inhale through your nose for a slow 4 count
  • Then hold that breath in your lungs & slowly count to 4 in your mind
  • Then continually exhale for a slow mental 4 count
  • Lastly, hold that emptiness for a 4 count
  • Repeat 3-4 times in one sitting
