The author of The Seven Mountain Prophecy describes seven culture-shaping areas of influence over each society—media, government, education, economy, family, religion, and celebration (arts and entertainment)—that are the keys to taking a nation for the kingdom of God. This conversation with Erica Goings really shows how ministry can begin to infiltrate the entertainment industry. Erica Goings is an Emmy Award winning Producer and a multiple Award Winning Casting Director who has an industry career spanning over 2 decades. She is from Birmingham, Alabama and graduated Cum Laude from Tennessee State University. She produced Judge Judy for several years and recently won an Emmy for producing Judge Judy's new court show, Judy Justice. She’s casted from MTV to Paramount Pictures, working with nearly every studio and network in Hollywood. Her credits include award-winning shows such as Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen, FOX's Hell's Kitchen, NBC's The Biggest Loser, and many others.

In this episode, I break down:

  • When Jesus became real to Erica
  • When her interest in TV production developed
  • How she got her start in the television industry
  • Navigating Hollywodd and jobs that go against God’s Word
  • Her ministry and purpose is in the television industry
