“Freak-outs are going to happen whenever you're susceptible to that irrational, fear-based voice.”

Do you get the 4:00 AM freak-outs? “Oh my God, there's not enough money. That client's going to fire me. Am I healthy? Am I sick? Is the world going to end?” Let's talk about how to get your brain under control so you can get good sleep and build your business.

Being woken up at 4:00 AM (or insert your own freak-out time here) is so disruptive to our daily lives; it’s pointing to an issue that really wants to get our attention. It can happen while you’re sleeping, or even while meditating, driving, or when you’ve just sat down for a little bit of peaceful time.

It wasn’t that long ago when I would have these periodic meltdowns with my husband where I would just say, “We're not going to be able to pay the bills. There's not enough money and the roof is going to fall in (our chosen metaphor for the time period).” One day, he finally called me out saying, “While you keep saying the roof is going to fall in, I can't help but notice that it's been literally years and the roof hasn't fallen in yet.” That, for some reason, broke the spell for me and I learned the tools to face the freak-outs head on.

I would love to teach you the tools so you, too, can stop losing sleep and start building a better mindset. In this episode, we’re talking about all the ways the 4:00 AM freak outs can interrupt our daily lives, what women consultants are most worried about, and what you can do to stop it. And yes, you can stop it.

Mentioned in this episode:

I have a confession to make. I hate shopping, but I love the way I feel in beautiful clothes. I love to have new looks, and I really don't want to be seen in the same outfits over and over, but I also don't want to clog landfills with more fast fashion. Because I despise shopping, I've been known to buy too quickly and end up with a closet full of things I don't wear. But everything changed for me when I discovered Armoire. I was heading to a business event in Hawaii and I wanted to look fantastic. I got a gorgeous dress and the cutest jumpsuit. Armir is like sharing a closet with your girlfriends who just happened to have fabulous taste. Once a month, I choose stunning new selections, and a few days later, a package arrives at my door, new clothes, no shopping, different looks, no waste. I've rented over $60,000 of designer clothes for just $119 a month, and I'm constantly asked, "Where did you get that from?" Armoire! Try it for yourself.
