Today’s guest is the former CEO of the legendary Lee Steinberg sports agency which was the inspiration for the movie Jerry Maguire and the co-founder and CEO of Sports 1 which is one of the most notable sports and entertainment agencies in the world. He started with nothing and became a millionaire just 9 months out of law school and a multimillionaire by the time he was 32, but then he went broke Going through his own personal Valley of death which on the other side he made his fortune back again and now he is an extremely successful serial entrepreneur, angel investor, and philanthropist. Since his personal rebirth, he has written 3 best-selling books on the topic of personal and business success; Connected to Goodness, Compassionate Capitalism, and Game-Time Decision Making. He also shares his principles on his business podcast The PlayBook which releases new episodes daily. One of his principles is to Be interested and not interesting. This causes him to constantly be observing everyone and everything for the purpose of understanding how he can add value to every situation. Everything He and his business partner, Hall of Fame Quarterback Warren Moon are a part of has a charitable component and this rule has led to even more stratospheric success for them and their companies.
