“I’m an acquirer and curator of ideas and strategies, and I have a Rolodex of people to execute those strategies.” -Steve Wingard, USMA ‘87

Steve Wingard is the Founder and Managing Partner of Wayfinder Wealth, a financial advising firm that helps families and business owners uncomplicate complex planning with a specialization in high net-worth strategies. Steve is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and has been a financial services professional for more than 20 years. He enjoys simplifying the process through problem-solving for intangibles and is passionate about helping clients to achieve their goals. At Wayfinder, Steve works to shape the future services and capabilities of the firm and leverages his strategic financial planning expertise to empower enterprising individuals and families.

In this episode, we discuss:

  • What Steve does at Wayfinder Wealth and how he helps clients look at their complete financial picture
  • How Steve came about writing his e-book, “A Dozen Ways to Derail Your Wealth”
  • Steve’s journey in the world of financial advising and what has made him successful
  • Some of the strategies Steve uses to solve the financial “puzzles” his clients face
  • Steve’s most important goals for 2024

Steve’s unofficial title at Wayfinder is “Chief Puzzle Officer” because he likes to look at a client’s complete picture and put all of the pieces together to create the best strategy possible. By assembling a curated team of advisors that he knows will best suit each individual set of circumstances, Steve can ensure that his client’s financial plan stays focused and well-coordinated. Thank you, Steve, for sharing your expertise with us. You are a wealth of knowledge!
