Resentment - This is the one thing all relationships are faced with. Whether its early on in the relationship or 10 years in.

And the hardest thing about resentment is it builds up over time. You’ll hear of examples from Meg and Jacob on this throughout the podcast and what they do to navigate the tension and dissolve the resentment. The result being a clear and open channel for the love to flow freely between their hearts. Its definitely a practice that requires devotion!

Meg shares a powerful question you can ask yourself when experiencing a trigger.

Jacob has multiple processes and realisations about himself.

We dive deep into how resentment is created and the danger of unspoken expectations.

Jacob shares how manipulation and unspoken desires were driving his acts of service.

The Chicken Soup Saga.

Asking for what you want in your relationship teaches your partner how to support and love you better.

Here’s what you’ll hear us riff on in this conversation…

  • Meg loving Jacob and him pushing her away.
  • Jacob getting bullied as a teenager led to resilience in business.
  • A woman's deepest fear is to be perceived as a B*itch.
  • Self Inquiry - What am I making this mean?
  • You can’t hold resentment and experience a fully alive relationship
  • Keeping the channel clear between two hearts.
  • Withholding your love from your partner.
  • Manipulation as a way to passively punish your partner.
  • Taking things personally and pushing your partner away.
  • Testing your partner instead of actually communicating what you want.
  • And much, much more

Big love,

Meg & Jacob xx
