In this episode, we talk about “the role of the mistress." We talk about the, "other woman" or the "homewrecker"! Has our perception of the mistress changed? There have been a lot of popular shows that have depicted the mistress role. There are the famous mistresses, like Camila Parker Bowles. Have we realized that yes, the mistress is cheating, but so is the man!

In the grand theater of relationships, mistresses often find themselves cast as the elusive anti-heroine, challenging societal norms and defying expectations with a saucy swagger. They're the rebels with a cause, rewriting the script of love and loyalty with each clandestine rendezvous.

But behind the cloak-and-dagger drama lies a deeper story of human connection and desire. Mistresses are not just femme fatales or home-wreckers; they're complex individuals navigating the messy landscape of love in all its forms. What do we think? Or should they just leave my man alone!!

Do we have more empathy and understanding as to why women become mistresses? Mel and Suzie discuss what it means to be a mistress, what we think of the role of a mistress. What is the truth? Is it a mysogynitic double standard that we have such a visceral reaction to mistresses?
