Today's episode of Short Story Long is with my good friend Todd Tourso who is the creative director for Beyoncé. Growing up in Reseda, California, Todd was really into skateboard culture & graffiti which he says still plays a role in his life today. After high school he started taking graphic design and went to college at ArtCenter College of Design, in Pasadena. This led him to create the streetwear brand Plain Gravy which you may be familiar with from the t-shirt "PHARRELL CAN'T SKATE" which also got the attention from Pharrell himself. Todd has been in streetwear, was the art director for Warner Bros Records, creative director at Flaunt Magazine & also worked with Lady Gaga for a few years. Now currently the creative director for Beyoncé, Todd gives his insight on clothing, art & everything that has shaped him into the career that he has today.
