Today I had the honor of speaking with Tracey Northcott, founder of Tokyo Family Stays, a short term rental business in Tokyo Japan with 15 properties mixed between master lease, managed, and owned.
In this episode, Tracey shares the ins and outs of running a business in a foreign country as a non-native such as Japan, how to find out regulations & deal with legal if you don't know or speak the language, how to build trust in a community, the importance of branding and how it helped grow her business, and how she was able to pivot her business when a country dependent on foreign travel gets locked down.
