Isabel Álvarez-Martos, the CEO of the award winning Danish start-up Cellugy, tells us how they are leveraging sustainability to protect both your food and the planet.

Isabel, the co-founder of Cellugy, explains how their cutting edge bio-cellulose "coating" material is transparent, flexible and resistant to temperature & water but harmless to the environment. If compared to oil-based plastics, the carbon footprint and energy consumption through Cellugy’s material can be reduced up to 60-80%.

Cellugy has won a significant number of awards as well as successfully participated in several "accelerator" programs.
