Music has been an integral part of the Ghanaian culture and since the 20 th century, Highlife music has been Ghana's biggest and one of the world's most important music genres.

Looking at our current list of music exports, can we say highlife is still Ghana's identity on the music market? Why are our top music exports not pushing the Highlife agenda but are experimenting with foreign genres?
