Wikipedia Defines Strategy as a general plan to achieve one or more long-term or overall goals under conditions of uncertainty. Strategy is an action that managers take to attain one or more of their organization's goals. Strategy can also be viewed as a general direction set for the company and its various components to achieve a desired state in the future.

These definitions are as true in chess as they are in business as well as in the battlefield. Strategic Thinking Is an essential component in the growth curve of any business as it is responsible for how the company's resources are earned and expended.
