Episode 3 sees Rach and Han step back in time *queue Dr Who music* to 1871, Kidbrooke near Greenwich as Rach discusses the brutal murder of Jane Maria Clouson.
Jane was a "Maid of All Work" for a Greenwich-based family ", The Pooks", and Edmund, the youngest son, was undoubtedly fraternising with the help! So much so that he got Jane pregnant... and then Jane is found clinging to life at the side of a muddy road saying only, "Let me die".
Hear the chilling "unsolved" (ahem) case that still has people talking today, hear why Rachel is a woman of the people and incredibly relatable, and just how eloquent Hannah is as we discuss class, love out of wedlock, and the frustrating importance of respectability to Victorian culture.
