We discuss our fav bits of nerd news: Christopher Nolan compared Dune 2 to Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back which is great news, the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender stills looked promising, Milly Alcock was cast as Supergirl in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, and a funny trailer for IF featuring Randall Park as John Krasinski. Plus a few fun new bits of media we’re excited about: Palm Royale and Welcome Home, Franklin. For bingeing, Big Pops has been rewatching One Piece, he had opinions about the Chosen season 4 ep 1-3, and finally finished the season 3+4 of Stranger Things. He also had been reading all of John Burns’s Fantastic Four and Phillip Yaney’s “The Jesus I Never Knew.” Sis watched Reacher, Parks and Rec, Tetris, and One Piece. She had enjoyed doing Yoga with Adrienne, playing Stardew Valley on switch and playing DnD with her friends. She also had been listening to audiobooks by Donald Miller. Then, Pops shared his pull list! This week he introduces us to Green Arrow Issue 8 by DC; Immortal Thor Issue 6 by Marvel; as well Ghost Machine a one-shot by Image. His new number 1 is John Constantine: Hellblazer, Dead in America by DC Black Label. His Book of the Week is Avengers Twilight Issue 1 by Marvel.
