There's an increasingly prevalent narrative that LGBTQ have a pressing incentive to distance themselves from the church and its teachings. In this episode, we discuss the reasons we believe this assumption is ill-founded and ultimately damaging to LGBTQ people.

Data from the OME shows that suicides of youth age 10–17 make up about 6 percent of suicides per year in Utah.
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention points out, “suicide deaths are almost always the result of multiple overlapping causes, including mental health issues that might not have been recognized or treated.”
