Now...add Ta'kiya Young to the litany of Blacks whose lives have been extinguished at the hands of those who are sworn to serve and protect.
I must admit-my spirit is grieved and, honestly, the depressed part of my personal diagnosis is seeking to arise.
"In Their Arms"
is again a piece that was written several years ago. I wish I did not have cause to continue to publish pieces such as this.
Many will ask why I continue to publish what could be cosidered depressing.
My emphatic answer... Because they expect us to behave as if these occurrences are normal and that we have reached a general level of acceptance regarding these abhorrent acts.
They don't seem to realize that they are working hard to awaken the spirit of our ancestors that dwells within EACH and EVERY ONE of US!!
OUR SPIRIT LIVES!!!
