For the first episode of the new season, Nick is joined by fellow USC student and friend, Zach Frischer, to discuss the 1974 classic neo-noir film: Chinatown. In this episode, they try to figure out the nuances of the plot, whether they like the ending and if its satisfying, how Jack Nicholson’s character isn’t that good of a P.I., comparisons to older noir films, the “my sister, my daughter” reveal, the impressive cinematography, the realistic violence, a ~brief~ conversation about Roman Polanski and ethically watching this film, and much more!
