In this week's episode, Sierra sits down with Omani-American artist Emaan as she talks about being one of the only women from Oman to publicly preform contemporary Western music and living between two cultures. She also discusses the effects of improvisation on her songwriting, as well as her recent songwriting inspirations.

Emaan Zadjali is an American-born, Omani-raised singer-songwriter. She holds the title of being one of the only women from Oman to publically perform contemporary Western music. Her sound incorporates her Middle Eastern influences and she blends both English and Arabic lyrics. Emaan graduated from Berklee College of Music in 2020 and has since been consistently releasing music on all platforms.
