Laurel Wright and Wes Lunsford, aka The Young Fables, sit down with Sierra to discuss the importance of writing about difficult topics, specifically grief. They also touch on the various “eras” of songwriters.

Hailing from Maryville, TN, Laurel Wright and Wes Lunsford weave classic storytelling into traditional roots music with pop sensibilities. The duo’s unique sound has resonated with audiences around the globe. Live performances have transformed into stages from which The Young Fables (TYF) discuss themes and topics typically saved for the therapy couch. Alongside of TYF’s critically acclaimed new album PAGES, the team's feature documentary The Fable of a Song won the Nashville Film Festival Audience Choice Award in 2021. The film has played a significant role in helping to build a following which is centered around The Young Fables’ music and committed to raising awareness of the benefits of "community healing.
