Catherine Anne Davies is a producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who's released two solo albums as The Anchoress and has worked with a wide array of artists, including the Manics Street Preachers, Simple Minds, and Bernard Butler. Catherine tells Lara about her latest release, The Art Of Losing, a dark album that came out earlier in 2021 and received great reviews, while also resonating with many people during these pandemic times. Catherine goes through her career, from breaking her favourite tracks down with a multi-track recorder (that she chose over driving lessons) to becoming friends with her idols and performing in huge arenas.
