The podcast welcomes the Producer of Community Works, Bernadette Welsh to discuss how she provides a media outlet for local non-profits.

Bernadette shares her formula for how to structure a show that makes it easy to adapt to any organization. She feels, "It feeds the soul to say that you can do something that brings you joy." The philosophy of Community Works is: "When people help their neighbors, everybody benefits." Bernadette says the secret is listening to people, "What are they concerned about? Because if we assume what people are concerned about, we make a big mistake. It alienates people as well." She says, "I'd like to say that I give a voice to nonprofits."
