American Pie turned 25 on Tuesday, and if learning that is throwing you into some sort of crisis mode, why not work through it with myself and The Onion's CEO Ben Collins (@oneunderscore__ on Twitter and bencollins.bsky.social on Blue Sky) as we revisit the movie and its soundtrack for the occasion. In this episode, we talk a lot about how this movie holds up in 2024, discuss what happened to the cast, bemoan Seann William Scott not having become a Megastar, compare it to our own high school experiences, wonder how teenagers in 2024 would feel about the movie, and talk about the mostly good, EXTREMELY 1999 soundtrack.
