Today I'm tackling the show's very first concert film, and I'll post a link for where you can watch the whole thing for free on YouTube down below. It's URGH! A MUSIC WAR, and I'm joined by the always hilarious Blaine Capatch (@blainecapatch on Twitter and BlueSky) to talk about it.
This is also the first movie I was completely unfamiliar with before Blaine asked to do it, and I'm glad he did. You get to see/hear The Police, Devo, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Go-Gos, Joan Jett, XTC, Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark and a whole list of post-punk and new wave bands before they were famous. And being a concert film, the film discussion is light, so expect a lot of music discussion in this episode. And please check out the movie, it's free and it's a really fun watch!
