Southwestern Vermont Health Care’s (SVHC) Medical Matters Weekly with Dr. Trey Dobson is pleased to welcome Kim Warren, the health advocate for the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center’s (SVMC) Community Care Team, an award-winning program that helps support people seeking Emergency Care.
Warren started at SVMC in 2001. She has worked as a patient coordinator, mammography tech assistant, and as an administrator of the Screening, Brief Intervention & Referral to Treatment program in the Emergency Department. In her current role, she facilitates the Community Care Team. She graduated from Southern Vermont College in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and patient advocating. She is enrolled in a master’s in Social Work at Chamberlain University. In addition, she served on the Six Sigma team that facilitated the re-opening of the Breast Health and Imaging Center.
