In this episode Phil Rose talks with Flavilla Fongang. Flavilla is an award-winning serial entrepreneur, an international and multilingual keynote speaker (in English & French), a neuroscience brand expert covering strategy, design, marketing and customer experience. She is also the founder of 3 Colours Rule, an award-winning branding and marketing agency. Above all she’s an enabler who is never afraid to challenge the norms.

(Some of) The main points for listeners:

• Business is about people…

• Branding helps change perceptions

• Enablement is about seeing beyond what you see right now… seeing the diamond in the rock

• Branding and Emotional marketing – and the role fear plays in stopping us stepping up

• If you really put your mind to it you can make it happen

• Why the way you dress says so much about you – creating your own brand

• Why a boiler on your website doesn’t sell what you do… (even if you’re a plumber!)

• The point of marketing is to make selling superfluous (Peter Drucker)

• Being the best version of yourself… looking good, feeling good…

• Selling a vision and purpose not a job

• Why only having 10 business cards in your pocket leads to better networking

• How being the only ‘one’ in the room prompted Flavilla to set up ‘TLA Black Women in Tech’

• The story behind “Voices in the Shadows” and why it’s distributed to schools UK wide

• The power to change perceptions lies within us all

• Coaches help people find their inner diamond and helps them realise they are exceptional

• Above all … Have fun on the journey…
