During this episode, DPT students Mallory Hurley, Diane Smith, Mallorie Sweat and McKenzie Watkins discuss information they obtained through research as well as interviews they had with Physical Therapists who work “side jobs”. We will discuss what types of “side gigs” therapists have (traditional and non-traditional), why they have them (avoid burnout, pay off student loans, compassion fatigue, etc.), and touch on a few ethical concerns that may be related to therapists having a job on the side.
