The season is fast approaching, especially for Joe as his whitetail season opens up in a few short weeks in SC during the month of August!

Joe shares his experiences testing new broadheads and arrows, specifically the G5 T2 and Mega Meat broadheads. He highlights the impressive performance of these broadheads on various game animals, including warthogs and kudu in Africa. Joe also discusses his plans for the upcoming season, including scouting, camera placement, and hunting strategies for early season and rut hunts.

Joe discusses his hunting strategies and preparations for the upcoming season. He emphasizes the importance of scouting and finding rut funnels to increase the chances of encountering big deer. Joe simplifies his approach by focusing on geographical features that force deer movement in a certain direction. He also highlights the significance of prioritizing and being organized in order to make the most of hunting opportunities. Joe shares the mistakes he tries to avoid, such as hoping for the best instead of fixing potential issues. He also discusses the role of physical fitness in hunting success and sets a goal to hunt with traditional equipment this season.
