Standard Orbit 143: Right Click, Word Replacement

TNG as TOS.

The early seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation get a bad rep, and are often criticized as feeling like an "extension of TOS" or "1960s TV in the 1980s." Right or wrong, good or bad, in this episode of Standard Orbit, Ken and Zach discuss a handful of season one TNG adventures that feel more at home on Kirk's Enterprise than Picard's.

The Naked Now, on TOS as originally planned? Angel One, would it be too progressive for the late 1960s? Too Short a Season, is it generic enough for any series? We'll Always Have Paris becoming I Left My Heart In San Francisco? We have a fun time pondering what these episodes could become with just a few uses of the word replacement tool. And stay tuned till the end to hear about our special iTunes giveaway!
