The J'naii, an androgynous species needs the help of the Enterprise crew as two of their scientists are stuck in Null Space, the relationship between the rescue team and the crew of the Enterprise proves to be earth shattering as Commander Riker sparks a bloom in one of the J'naii who actually identifies as female in secret. This is also the introduction to Star Trek for my friend and guest Jared, a.k.a. The Commander and we delve into some of the bigger themes evoked from this episode.
