Meet Rajat Arora, our guest on the Big Bull Podcast, who engages in Swing Trading. Back in 2015, while interning as Company secretary (CS), Rajat Arora heard about the stock market from his boss. His boss used to often discuss the ins and outs of trading, including the profits and losses involved. He practically learnt about the stock market when his boss showed his trading portfolio and explained that stocks give dividends, especially those of public sector companies, and also showed his old stocks. Inspired by this, he started buying a small quantity of stocks with the 10k-15k savings. Gradually, he began to see some profits. Later, it was realised that even though he was studying Company secretary (CS), he didn't analyse companies' balance sheets. Then he focused on market fundamentals and took advantage of his commerce background to examine financial statements.

Meet Praful Kulkarni, a seasoned option seller who stays realistic about his trading journey. He emphasizes that a trader’s psychology plays a crucial role in success, especially when faced with losses. During the conversation, he highlighted that the capital required for option selling depends on individual goals and circumstances, whether you aim to trade full-time or part-time, have financial dependents, or anticipate major expenses. Sharing his own experience, Praful revealed that he started option selling only after securing enough savings to cover his expenses for two years. He also had a solid backup plan that if trading didn’t work out within that period, he was prepared to pursue an MBA and other career opportunities. He stressed why small capital isn’t ideal for option selling. Without a financial cushion, losses can easily impact a trader’s psychology, leading to a cycle of recovery and revenge trading. His key takeaway? Never enter options trading without a Plan B. A well-thought-out backup plan can be the difference between success and emotional downfall in the market.…

Meet Ali Ahmed, who shared his views on the influence of social media on retail traders and how it creates a false sense of easy money in the stock market. Many traders chase quick profits, blindly follow so-called experts who spoon-feed entry and exit points, and fall for fake P&L screenshots that promise overnight success. This mindset leads to devastating losses, especially for those with no primary source of income. Social media influencers often lure traders with flashy lifestyles, paid seminars, and shortcuts that rarely work. Ali emphasizes that before considering full-time trading, having a stable primary income is crucial to cover basic expenses and reduce financial pressure. This allows traders to focus on learning, risk management, and developing their own strategies without making emotional decisions driven by the need for immediate profits. True success in trading comes from discipline, education, and patience, not from blindly following market noise. Meet Shubham Batra, a swing trader who has mastered the art of identifying precise entry and exit points. With a deep understanding of price action, he analyzes over 100 charts daily and has memorized stock prices to quickly spot potential trade setups. He believes that by comparing current stock prices with historical movements, traders can develop effective entry and exit strategies with higher accuracy. His process begins with sectoral analysis, where he filters out stocks from underperforming sectors. Once he shortlists the top stocks within these sectors, he analyzes their accumulation and distribution zones to determine the best trade opportunities. To time his entries, he combines multiple factors for confirmation. He looks at the previous day’s high, volume surges, and MACD crossovers to increase the probability of a successful trade. This method helps him avoid false breakouts and ensures he enters only when the momentum aligns with his expectations. Risk management is at the core of his strategy. He deploys only 10% of his capital initially and scales up his position gradually, but only if the stock moves as anticipated. This disciplined approach minimizes risk while maximizing potential returns, making his trading system both robust and sustainable. WATCH FULL EPISODE ONLY ON OUR CHANNEL-A DIGITAL BLOGGER…

With a shopkeeper’s mindset of always booking profits, Parth decided to start trading. He used the capital from his father’s Demat account, which had been dormant since 2008. After losing ₹1.4 Lakh in the market crash, his father had held onto just two shares, which grew from ₹10K to ₹1.5 Lakh over time. Parth took a calculated risk with that capital and gradually built his success. Impressed by his progress, his father later entrusted him with ₹15-17 Lakh to trade. Meet Prakash Behura, a part-time Swing Trader who has been active in the stock market for the past few years and focused on swing trading for the last three. He follows a structured methodology to filter potential stocks before making any trade decisions. Prakash starts by shortlisting stocks based on key fundamental parameters such as promoter holding, positive EPS, strong cash flows, and consistent quarter-on-quarter growth. Once filtered, he performs competitive benchmarking and digs deeper into financial metrics like revenue and EBITDA. From this process, he typically narrows down to 10–12 promising stocks. However, he doesn’t invest in all of them. He prefers to stay selective, picking 3–4 at most, while keeping his strategy simple and avoiding overly technical complexities. Despite having a full-time job, Prakash efficiently manages his trading activity with patience and discipline. In this video, he discusses how he plans his entries and exits in swing trades — especially the often tricky part of knowing when to exit. His rules around this are clear and well-thought-out. We also explore how he uses a detailed Excel sheet to track his positions, record his notes, and review his trades when needed. Watch the full conversation to understand his practical and methodical swing trading approach!…

Meet Vikas, who shared his journey of transition in the stock market and the lessons he learned along the way. He realized that in pursuing one opportunity, there’s always a chance of missing another—because the stock market is a vast pool of possibilities, and no one can capture everything at once. To build confidence in his trading, Vikas experimented with different strategies, strike prices, and option types. While testing OTM options, he made one thing clear—he wasn’t driven by greed. He believes most traders lose money because they focus solely on profits and see the market as just a money-making platform. Although he, too, considers the monetary aspect, he consciously avoids greed, which helps him make better trading decisions. He acknowledges that making the right decision doesn’t mean it’s a perfect one. He may have missed opportunities and will likely miss more in the future, but his current choices are bringing him both profits and peace of mind—something he values the most. 👉 To watch the full video, head over to our YouTube channel — A Digital Blogger…
