Steve is originally from rural western Ohio where his family still farms the land his great grandfather worked. Steve has an associates degree in Recreation and Wildlife from Hocking College, a B.S. in Field Biology and Environmental Studies Certificate from Ohio University and a M.S. in Systematics and Evolution from the University of Alberta.
