Welcome to Storytelling with Seth

  • This is Episode #69

  • Reconnecting with Dr. Sarah Webb during Social Distancing

  • The COVID-19 Epidemic has changed our landscape as a people, a community and a country. New terms like social distancing and shelter-at-home or shelter-in-place have created a sense of isolation for so many.

  • But, it has also led to a resurgence of connections among long-lost and treasured acquaintances. Phone calls and video chats can transform the fear into shared understanding and communication.

  • I was lucky enough to catch up with my good friend Dr. Sarah Webb.

  • We talked about her annual writing contest Colorism Healing and chapbook.

  • From there the conversation touched on so many of the wonderful ideas that are found when two friends, colleagues, and former classmates share the promise and possibility of the writing and storytelling we embrace.
