It's time for episode 4 of the Str8 Up Games Podcast! We no longer have the sniffles or coughs so we should be a little easier on the ears this week.
We've been playing much of the same with a 1993 classic thrown in there that has us wondering if it was all a dream? It's been a slow news week as everyone prepares to blow minds at the Game Awards but there was still some gems out there. We chat about the next-gen update to Geralt and Co that will make a lot of Witcher fans happy, an F-Zero protype that sounds like just about as much fun as you can have with a Nintendo Online subscription and we fantasise about a world in which all DC games and movies exist on the same timeline.
We talk each other through some gaming music that has touched our hearts in one way or another. We follow Carrick on a teary eyed horse ride through the desert in Red Dead Redemption, appreciate Grant Kirkhope in all his genius and his take on a popular children's nursery rhyme to set the scene of Grunty's Lair in Banjo-Kazooie and labour our way up an exceptionally long ladder in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater in probably the best Bond theme that never was.
To save chatting about GTAV multiple times in a row, we're making the shift from the Metacritic Top 100 to the IGN list instead, in the Pile of Shame. Number 100 takes us back to the planet of Pandora in a game that promised guns, guns and more guns - Borderlands 2.
Please drop us a follow and any shares are massively appreciated. Enjoy!
