The Britbox original Hold The Sunset is the first sitcom for comedy icon John Cleese since Faulty Towers final episode aired in 1979. The new show drew amazing ratings when it debuted in February of this year on one BBC one the parent company of the U.S. streaming service of Britbox where we will see the show coming in September. The comedy stars Alison Steadman as a retired woman (Edith) who accepts a marriage proposal from her neighbor and longtime boyfriend, Phil, played by Cleese. They plan is to sell their houses and start a new life in the sun when her 50-year-old son, Roger played by Jason Watkins throws a monkey wrench in the works, by quitting his job, divorcing his wife and moves home with mom.
