Things get incredibly sexy in Episode 41 as Andy and Mitch joined by the news editor for Wicked Horror and contributor to outlets such as Vague Visages, BirthMoviesDeath and The List... it's Joey Keogh!

Her chosen film? Queen of The Damned!

Coming almost a decade after Interview With The Vampire, the continuing story of the Vampire Lestat sees him brought screaming into the present, fronting the biggest rock band in the world (also called The Vampire Lestat) and inadvertently awakening the Goddess of all vampires, Akasha, played by the late Aaliyah.

Critically mocked and generally overlooked, though featuring an incredible nu-metal soundtrack, Queen of The Damned is a film that may not merit the scorn... Let's dig in and see.

The synopsis is as follows:

Follows the legendary vampire Lestat, who has reinvented himself as a rock star in the contemporary American music scene. His music wakes Akasha, the queen of all vampires, and inspires her desire to make Lestat her king. Akasha's malevolent power is so great that all the immortal vampires must stand against her if they want to survive. Meanwhile, a young London woman with a fascination for the dark side falls in love with Lestat.
