Regular listeners will know that we have long imagined a time when a filmmaker would be daring enough to bring on one of their own films and, yes, it's finally happened. First up, it's director and host of Blumhouse podcast, Fear Initiative... it's Josh Forbes!

His chosen film? Well, it is of course, his own film, Contracted: Phase 2!

Coming hot on the heels of the original, Contracted: Phase 2 sees previous podcast guest Matt Mercer level up into the lead role of Riley, battling the gooey disease ravaging his body. Josh's discussion is frank, honest and an incredibly revealing peek into his thoughts on the film and his journey with it.

The Synopsis is as follows:

It's spreading... After Contracted unleashed the world's most horrifying virus, this sequel picks up the story as newly infected Riley races against time to contain the outbreak, even as it ravages his own body. But how do you stop a disease when you are the disease?
