Do dogs go to heaven? Do animals have souls or agency of any kind? Are the most recent advances in "science" really something we want to encourage? What is the proper understanding of the relationship between the human world and the animal world? Do whales ask for help? Do crows understand economy? Did cats self-domesticate? Are not dogs the BEST? What does the Bible have to say about animals?
The gang has a whale of a time as we tackle these issues, and tie in The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings, His Dark Materials, Jurassic Park, Hagane no Renkinjutsu (FullMetal Alchemist), and The Island of Dr. Moreau. Also, almost the entirely of The Dodo's Social Media feeds.
Seth and Erica discuss the thoughts of contemporary theologians and historic philosophers, and Christine get's a-Bible-Thumpin' in this week's episode!
Don't forget to share us with your friends, furry and otherwise!
