This week on Super Film Bros we unknowingly keep the theme going of the horroresque genre from last week as we watch and talk about the 2017 film Mom and Dad starring Nicolas Cage and Selma Blair.After an unknown static signal is randomly broadcasted that sets off the urge for parents to kill their own children, mass hysteria breaks out world wide as these violent events unfold. Meanwhile siblings Carly and Josh must survive not being murdered by their own parental units. (Cage & Blair)Written and directed by Brian Taylor (Crank and Crank: High Voltage) this flick gives an interesting view of the horror of what would happen if this were to actually take place in the real world. Good performances given by the main cast for sure, especially Nic Cage who basically plays himself for the entire course of the film. Hope you enjoy the show, and I also hope that your parents live a good distance away from you so you can properly prepare....you know just in case.
