Hey there, surfers! Time for your daily dose of the surf zone forecast brought to you by the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard. So grab your boards and let's dive in!
Starting off with the Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, we've got a moderate rip current risk in store for you through Sunday. Expect surf heights of 2 to 4 feet with a mix of west and south swells. Water temperatures ranging from 57 to 64 degrees will keep you refreshed. And hey, no thunderstorms expected, so it's all clear for a fantastic beach day!
Now, looking ahead to Monday, the moderate rip current risk continues, along with similar surf heights and a blend of south and west swells. Tides will be doing their thing with some fluctuation, so plan your surfing sessions accordingly.
Ventura County Beaches, you're up next! Similar conditions with a moderate rip current risk, 2 to 4 feet surf heights, and a mix of south and northwest swells await you. Water temperatures from 57 to 60 degrees will keep things cool as you catch those waves. Monday brings more of the same, so get ready for some fun times in the water!
For Santa Barbara County beaches, expect low rip current risks with 1 to 3 feet surf heights and northwest swells through Sunday. Monday brings in a low rip current risk again, with similar surf conditions and a touch of west swell. So get ready to enjoy the waves with slightly cooler water temperatures around 56 degrees.
And finally, moving up to San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, you've got 3 to 6 feet surf heights with south swells creating some great waves. Water temperatures between 53 to 55 degrees will keep things chill. Monday offers 2 to 5 feet surf heights with south swells rolling in.
Remember, keep an eye out for rip currents and always prioritize your safety while having fun out there in the water. This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
