Hey there awesome surfers and beachgoers! Ready to catch some waves and soak up the sun? Let's dive into the surf zone forecast for today and tomorrow in Southern California!
Starting off in Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches, we're looking at a moderate rip current risk today with surf heights ranging from 2 to 4 feet. Water temperature is a bit chilly at 59 to 62 degrees, so wetsuits are a must! Tomorrow, the rip current risk ramps up to high with surf heights increasing to 3 to 5 feet. Keep an eye out for that mixed west and south swell coming your way!
Moving on to Ventura County Beaches, we've got a moderate rip current risk today with similar surf heights of 2 to 4 feet. Water temperature is a touch warmer at 59 to 63 degrees. Tomorrow, the rip current risk remains moderate with surf heights sticking to 2 to 4 feet. Get ready for more mixed swell action with west and south swells in the forecast!
Heading over to Santa Barbara County, the southwestern and southeastern coasts are looking at a low rip current risk today with smaller surf heights of 1 to 3 feet. Tomorrow, the low risk continues with surf heights remaining the same. Enjoy the mellow vibes and mixed swell coming your way!
And last but not least, in San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches, today's surf heights range from 3 to 6 feet with a mix of west and south swell. Tomorrow, get ready for bigger waves with surf heights of 5 to 8 feet and that west swell continuing to roll in.
Remember to always be cautious in the water and keep an eye out for those rip currents, especially as the risk increases. So grab your boards, wax them up, and get ready for some fun in the sun!
